The night before I fell asleep at 1:00
Today I felt horrible really
Now its nearly 1:00 am and I’ve been lying in bed since 9:30 I’m worried I will feel really bad tomorrow but I can’t sleep ?!? What should I do ?
Theirs this thing called Ultimate Relaxation. That makes you soooo relaxed if your really sleepy it’ll take you to sleep. Heres what you do.
1) tense certain parts of your muscles at a time and release: Forehead, Back, Shoulders, Jaw, Legs, Arms, feet etc.
Tense each part (make sure you tense your whole body in the end) for about 1 second than release.
2) once your done that try pushing yourself up with the heels of your feet and shoudlers off the ground than release.
3) lift your right hand up and try to stretch as far as you can, letting all the rest of the tension leave your body, than gently put your arm down.
4) count to 10, breathing in and out in between each breathe so : 1) breathe in,breathe out. (the counting is basically counting ten breathes so you dont have to do it out loud)
by the end of that just let yourself lay in silence. You’ll probably drift a little to sleep, then fall to sleep, i usually think for some reason but thinking about little things makes me fall asleep more.
Thats the end.its better when you have someone saying to do this all to you instead of you thinling it, specifically if they have a really soft voice that that they cn speak this slowly to you.by the way if you havent realized you should do all this while laying down
The Average person usually falls asleep in 7 minutes. But, you have a harder time sleeping, so your obviously not going to sleep in ten minutes. Listen to music, but close your eyes. Get more comfortable. Dont have things around you that will distract you either. Because that will just make you want to stay up more. For listening to music, it does help. If you want to just listen to music without changing it you can make one on Http://www.playlist.com and it will just play songs when you make a playlist. Thats what I do! hope this helped.
